This wine from Christophe Pichon, who is well-known for his refined and elegant craftsmanship, has a deep and very aromatic bouquet. Its notes of red and dark fruits are enhanced by more complex hints of pepper, liquorice and cinnamon. With time, the wine develops notes of cocoa, humus and tobacco and its robust tannins become more elegant; balanced by an acidity conducive to its ageing potential. As you would expect, this cuvée will be delicious with a full-flavoured meats.
