About the producer
A small family-run estate measuring just four hectares, Domaine Pichat is lauded for its deep and distinct wines. 2000 was a defining year for the family, as they began to sell their production.
About the wine
The iconic cuvée of Côte-Rôtie, Les Grandes Places comes from a six-hectare micro-terroir, rich in schist and iron. This leads to the production of this equally powerful and delicate wine, suitable for keeping for a long time, and which stands out due to the freshness of its minty notes. The 24-month élevage is carried out in 400-litre barriques.
