Information
Established 20 years ago, Domaine Giachino has grown its grapes organically and produced organic wines for nearly 10 years. The vineyard lies on the slopes of Mont Garnier, on the outskirts of Chambéry in the communes of Chapareillan, Marches and Apremont. The grapes are picked by hand so that they can be kept in perfect condition until pressing. This also enables sorting of the bunches, with only the best being selected. As a result, the property does not need to use any additives or vinification products.
Renowned for its low-sulphur vinifications, here the domain has produced a wine rich in floral aromas, sweet almond and fruits such as quince and pineapple. The palate is nicely balanced between fruit, opulence and acidity. A lovely Savoie wine to be paired with shellfish and freshwater fish.
