Information
Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Joseph Drouhin house is now run by the four children of Robert Drouhin. Present throughout Burgundy, but also in the United States in Oregon, its reputation is worldwide. It also has a domain of its own, including a vineyard of 72 hectares.
The Premier Cru Morgeot Marquis of Laguiche of Domaine Drouhin owes its name to the Morgeot plot and to its former owner the Marquis of Laguiche. Maison Drouhin wanted the wine to carry its name after purchasing this plot of land. This wine is slightly golden, with beautiful aromas of hawthorn, apricot, and tobacco, then, over the years, with toasted dried fruit and spices. Silky, subtle, with a fine length, this is a great white Burgundy.
