Lafarge is a family-owned domain of 12 hectares, established in Volnay since the 19th century. Since then, each generation has strived to make it prosper and grow. In 1949 Michel and his father ran the domain; his son Frédéric joined them in 1978. From 1997 he started to use biodynamics in the domain and since 2000 all the vineyards are organically cultivated.
Domaine Lafarge is a 12-hectare family estate in Volnay, which dates back to the 18th century; each generation since has been devoted to its bourgeoning success. Volnay Clos du Château des Ducs opens with a floral bouquet (peony, violet), offering long-lasting fruit in the mouth – especial notes of cherry, redcurrant and raspberry. A wine with elegant, lingering expressiveness.
