The famous historical domaine of Volnay, the Pousse d'Or has an exceptional vineyard with many premier and grand crus. Previously owned by Gérard Potel, it is now in the hands of Patrick Landanger. The vineyard tends to come close to organic farming and the winemaking process is carried out smoothly, in the most natural way possible and élevage is understated (with a low proportion of new casks). The quality of this work means they can produce wines with remarkable aromatic expression and excellent aging potential.

Chambolle Musigny from Domaine de La Pousse d'Or is produced from a south-east facing parcel of 1.41 hectares. It has a very nice colour with aromas of soft fruits and violet. It is silky, balanced, elegant and delicate on the palate. This wine can be aged for around 10 years.
