About the producer

Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.

About the wine

Run by Jean-Claude Ramonet, now separated from his brother Noël, this domaine is one of the most mythical of the Côte de Beaune. Its white wines are pure wonders and are snatched up on all four corners of the globe. When tasting, this wine offers the nose notes of lime, vanilla, white fruits and savoury notes. On the palate it is sharp and lively but with a seductive substance and balance. The wine is distinguished by fine acidity and a good finish.
