About the producer
The Fuligni domaine is located to the east of Montalcino and has belonged to a Venetian family for many years. The vineyards, which are planted exclusively with the Sangiovese grape variety, boast a marly soil. Wines are aged in the traditional manner in barrels and have excellent cellaring potential.
About the wine
On tasting, the wine's garnet-red appearance precedes a complex nose which exhales notes of red berries (raspberries) and black berries (wild berries), with an attractive minerality. The wine is dense in the mouth, with fine tannins and significant keeping potential.
