About the producer
The Romano Dal Forno domaine in Veneto was established in 1983. It takes the least interventionist approach possible to vinifying its wines, and ages them in new barrels. The advice is therefore to taste these wines after protracted cellaring in order to allow the tannins to mellow.
About the wine
With its magnificent deep red appearance, this cuvée reveals a complex bouquet combining notes of redcurrants, flowers (roses), coffee and cocoa. The palate is rounded and full bodied. A complete, powerful, velvety wine of rare elegance. Its finish is very impressive. Magnificent!
