Rioja DOCa Gran Reserva 904 La Rioja Alta
Information
About the producer

Rioja Alta, which was established in 1890 by five Basque winegrowers, is one of the largest wineries in the Rioja region. The winery expanded in the 1970s, creating a new cellar and buying prestigious new parcels. Vines are managed in an environmentally friendly manner to get the very best out of each terroir and the cellar belongs to that rare breed of vineyards with its own cooperage producing the barrels used for vinification.

About the wine

This ruby-coloured wine with brick red highlights offers up spicy, woody and leathery aromas on the nose. The palate is also quite spicy with refined tannins and impressive length. The wine is matured in the cellar for a number of years before its release onto the market.
