About the producer

The Luciano Sandrone domaine was created in 1978 in the heart of the village of Barolo in the Piedmont. Luciano’s wines have rapidly established an international reputation. The vineyard spans 27 hectares planted with Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo and the domaine is worked without chemicals, although it does not have organic accreditation. Ageing is carried out in 500-litre barrels to preserve the subtlety of the wines. They have a distinctive intense fruity flavour and velvety tannins.

About the wine

This cuvée has notes of cherries and roses on the nose; it is fresh in the mouth, with velvety tannins. The finish is long and precise.
