About the producer

Gioberto Zannoni, his wife Felicetta Ricciardiello, and their son Angelo own this domaine which has been in their family for five generations. They mainly grow Sangiovese, and the domaine’s resident oenologist, Paolo Vagaggini, has worked hard to raise its profile. Substantial investments have made it possible to improve the infrastructure on the domaine, which now produces high-quality wines.

About the wine

This wine has an intense ruby-red visual aspect. The palate offers a subtle bouquet of cherries, leather, chocolate and spices. It is a powerful, spicy wine, yet with perfect balance and great complexity.
