About the producer

This domaine, which has been owned by the Rosso family since 1920, is located 3 kilometres north of Serralunga d’Alba. The domaine's motto is that "Wine should be a carbon copy of its terroir” and this is what dictates the cultivation, vinification and ageing approach practised by Giovanni Rosso's son Davide Rosso.

About the wine

La Serra is a wine which has been matured for at least three years in French oak vats from the forest of Fontainebleau. It is a wine with a dark, intense colour, producing attractive notes of undergrowth, coffee and liqueur, along with violet and cherry. The tannins are precise, and the finish is persistent and pleasant.
