Information
The Molino domaine, which was established in 1953, includes one of the most famous crus in the Langhe region – "Vigna Conca". After the death of founder Giuseppe in 1978, his son Mauro Molino took over the management of the domaine following the completion of his diploma in oenology. Drawing on his experience gained at various domaines in northern Italy, he has shifted production towards high-end wines. His son Matteo now works with him full-time.
Produced from 40-year-old vines, this cuvée has a deep ruby-red hue and develops cherry, peony and strawberry notes on the nose. It tannins are light on the palate and a subtle tartness balances out the wine overall. It boasts a long finish.
