About the producer

Matteo Correggia took over the family domaine in 1985. Located in Roero, in the southern Piedmont, it boasts sandy, marly and fossiliferous limestone soils. Its red wines made from Nebbiolo grapes have round, silky tannins and are pleasingly fresh on the palate. The whites are rich with sublime bouquets. Matteo Correggia’s wines also have good cellaring potential.

About the wine

When drunk in the company of friends, this cuvée offers seductively intense, elegant notes of flowers and red fruit. Its perfectly well-balanced palate reveals a charming harmony with light but well-integrated tannins. It is the ideal wine for serving with regional recipes such as a mushroom risotto or ravioli with truffles.
