Information
Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot has been run by the same family for four generations. It was bought by the Domaine Faiveley in 2013 but the teams remained in place, particularly Marie Françoise Guillard and Patricia Chevillon, who run the domaine. The 20 hectare vineyard has vines ranging from relatively old to old and it includes 20 different appellations. It extends from the north of the Côte de Nuits in Marsannay to the Côte de Beaune in Savigny-lès-Beaune.
Domaine Dupont Tisserandot works hard to ensure the best of each terroir is represented in its wines. Harvesting for this Gevrey Villages is manual, with rigorously selective picking. The grapes are 100% destemmed, then cooled for cold maceration. Fermentation uses native yeasts specific to each terroir. The result is a generous, highly refined Gevrey with morello cherry and red fruit aromas. A wine ready for drinking after 3-10 years' cellaring.
