Information
About the producer

François Raquillet comes from a family of winemakers in their 10th generation. He took over the family domaine in 1990 which spans 10 hectares mostly in the Mercurey appellation. The range from Domaine Raquillet offer some of the finest examples of the appellation. The Mercurey La Brigadière is a wonderful white that pairs well with grilled fish. It has distinct aromas of white flowers and offers up great minerality in the mouth and a long finish.

About the wine

Raquillet's red Vieilles Vignes comes from 3 south-facing plots on limestone-clay soil, planted with vines with an average age of 60 years. The wine is pleasant and indulgent, with a certain freshness, and a creamy texture.
