François Crochet manages this family-run domain in Bué in the heart of Sancerre country. The vines are cultivated sustainably (grass for ground cover). The wines have a strong personality and are a perfect expression of their terroir. All the cuvées produced are exemplars of elegance and finesse and the range has earned François Crochet an excellent reputation in Sancerre winegrowing circles.

With Cuvée Le Chêne Marchand, aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers and exotic fruit abound on the nose. On the palate this wine has extreme minerality, iodised and tense with great finesse. This cuvée has admirable ageing potential.
