François Crochet manages this family-run domain in Bué in the heart of Sancerre country. The vines are cultivated sustainably (grass for ground cover). The wines have a strong personality and are a perfect expression of their terroir. All the cuvées produced are exemplars of elegance and finesse and the range has earned François Crochet an excellent reputation in Sancerre winegrowing circles.

About the wine

Originally from eight-year-old vines, cuvée Exils produces wines with a pale hue, the nose expressing notes of pear and acacia. The palate is full-bodied and mineral with aromas of vanilla.
