Information
Maison Albert Bichot was created in Burgundy in 1831. The famous Chardonnay wine traders acquired many plots throughout Burgundy. Its fabulous vineyards are divided between several areas which have autonomous teams and cellars. Maison Bichot thus owns the Long-Depaquit domaine in Chablis, the Clos Frantin domaine in Nuits-Saint-Georges (as well as the Château Gris on a monopole of the village) and the Adélie domaine at Mercurey. Finally, on the Côte de Beaune, at Pommard, it owns the Domaine du Pavilion, mentioned here. This includes 17 hectares of vines, 8 of which are for white crus. The domaine follows a biological approach to vines with a respect for nature and a control of yields. The winery of the domaine is located in the middle of the Clos des Ursulines in Pommard
Corton Charlemagne is one of the world's most sought-after white wines. The Domaine du Pavilion has a southeasterly-facing plot there in the "Les Languettes" climat. This Corton-Charlemagne benefits from all the skill and expertise of the Maison Albert Bichot. It combines power, refinement and clean construction with great elegance.
