Gevrey-Chambertin Sylvie Esmonin
Information
About the producer

Agricultural engineer Sylvie Esmonin has worked in several different domains before returning to family one in 1990. Whole-grape vinifications are important for her, allowing her wines to remind the perfume of 19th-centyury Burgundy wines. Combined with the use of the renowned barrels of Dominique Laurent, this gives a very classic and charming style to the wines of Sylvie Esmonin. Although it doesn't have any certification, the vines are organic and despite its discretion, it is part of the Burgundian elite.

About the wine

Sylvie Esmonin's Gevrey Chambertin is produced from a whole variety of parcels with vines over 60 years old and is aged in barrels for 20 months.
