Information
Founded by Claude Bertagna in the 1950s, Domaine Bertagna has belonged to the Günther Reh family for over thirty years, and over the last few years has enjoyed significant investment designed to modernise it, pushed forward by its current manager Eva Reh-Siddle. As a result, it now features among some of Burgundy's most renowned domains.
For Corton Charlemagne, alcoholic fermentation takes place in barrels and the lees are stirred regularly until the end of the malolactic fermentation stage. Élevage in oak (50% new) takes between 15 and 18 months. The wine has a fruity nose and a powerful, concentrated velvety texture with a tangy flavour and a pleasant mineral quality.
