Information
Gérard Harmand now runs the Harmand-Geoffroy family domaine, whose creation dates back to the 19th century. The vineyard covers a little less than 10 hectares in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, with a majority of premier crus and a grand cru, the Mazis-Chambertin. The vines are relatively old (about fifty years) and the cultivation is conducted in a sustainable manner. The quality of the wines has progressed well in recent years, they are harmonious, with body and intense fruity aromas.
La Bossière is a very small climat (barely half a hectare) to the west of Gevrey-Chambertin, a monopole owned by Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy. It produces a very typical wine, with aromas of wild berries (wild strawberry, blackberry) and a well-structured, rounded, refined palate.
