Information
Founded in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard de Gramont, Domaine Chantal Lescure is a family domaine that now belongs to their two sons: Aymeric and Thibault Machard de Gramont. An owner harvesting 18 hectares of AOC vineyards, the Domaine Chantal Lescure extends from Chambolle-Musigny in Côte de Nuits to Meursault in Côte de Beaune. In 1996, when Chantal Lescure died, Aymeric Machard de Gramont took over the management of the domaine. The entire organisation of the domaine, and in particular how to work the vines was then re-considered. François Chavériat was hired as a cellar master and has been moving the domaine towards agrobiology since 1997. Today, the domaine is certified organic
Grown organically, this Pommard from Domaine Chantal Lescure is at once powerful and delicate with a superb balance of fruit, acidity and tannins, allowing it to age for at least ten more years. A perfect wine for the winter to accompany its seasonal dishes.
