Domaine Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon, in the Mâconnais, was created in 1999 by Dominique Lafon (Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Meursault). It has shown itself as a fine example of the appellation with particularly high quality white wines. The vines are now managed according to the principles of organic agriculture and biodynamics.

Viré-Clessé is a pretty, fairly clear straw yellow colour. The bouquet produces aromas of exotic fruit and flowers. The palate is generous, with passion fruit aromas, balanced between roundness and mineral acidity; it ends on a pretty finish packed with freshness.
