About the producer

Located near the town of Chambéry, Domaine Louis Magnin is a small family property with eight hectares of vines. Situated in the village of Arbin, it adjoins the Bauges Massif. The Magnin family adopt a very natural approach in both the vineyard and the winery, producing clean, direct wines. It has for many years been one of Savoie's finest and most consistent properties.

About the wine

This Mondeuse is full of freshness, with pronounced fruit aromas. It is produced from thirty-year-old parcels grown on extremely pebbly, clay-limestone soils, which lend the wine a lovely balance. The grapes are harvested manually, completely destemmed and vatted in stainless steel vats for 6 days, after which the wine is matured on its lees in stainless steel vats for one year.
