Arbois Trois cépages Pélican
Information
About the producer

After having made such an excellent name for the Domaine Marquis d'Angerville in Burgundy, Guillaume d'Angerville decided to fly the nest and set up shop in the Jura. In the last 10 years, Guillaume has gradually acquired three five hectares plots which form his new venture Domaine du Pélican, so called because of the pelican being the bird of Arbois. This young domain comprises some incredible and unique terroir. Some of the plots were completely untended for years by the previous owner. This allowed Guillame to replant vines on particularly healthy soil. And healthy these soils shall remain as Guillaume is invested in biodynamic viticulture.

About the wine

In 2012, Guillaume d'Angerville, the owner of the eponymous property in Volnay, acquired two properties located a few kilometres from Arbois, that were merged to form the Domaine de Pélican. This cuvée is a local blend of Pinot Noir, Trousseau and Poulsard. A resounding success!
