About the producer

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze has been a family domaine for more than a century and a half, with many prestigious appellations in premier crus and grand crus and therefore an exceptional heritage. Today Philippe and Christine Drouhin and their children manage the domaine.

About the wine

Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Craipillot takes its name from a stony limestone soil, from the French craie ("chalk"). This plot is located in Combe Lavaut's alluvial fan. Its vines were planted in 1943 and 1953. This wine is sophisticated and velvety, with aromas of black berries and woody vanilla, blackcurrant and a few licorice notes.
