Information
Château Le Pin Beausoleil was founded in 1997 on a manor house built in the fifteenth century which at that time used to grow vines, but they then disappeared during the phylloxera outbreak. Nowadays it is managed by Ingrid and Michael Hallek with Stéphane Derenoncourt as consultant.
This first wine has been produced from vines that are on average thirty five years old. The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soil of which 30% is sandy loam. 50% of the wine has been matured in new barrels and 50% in barrels containing one wine. It turns into a subtle wine as it develops roasted and candied notes. On the palate, this wine has generous tannins and is bursting with fruit.
