Château La Vieille Cure
Information
About the producer

Le Château de la Vieille Cure dates from 1780. Most of the vineyard has a south-east orientation along the river Isle, 65 metres above sea level. It was bought in 1986 by American collectors who were captivated by the quality of the vineyard. They renovated the property to play to its strengths and thus enhanced the reputation of the domaine. Château La Vieille Cure is a wine for laying down and the advice is to wait at least ten years to allow aromas to develop and tannins to mellow. It delivers fruity, smoky and toasted aromas and is warm, full and generous on the palate.
