The second generation runs the Sérafin family domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin. This small, 6 hectare domaine of organic farming extends over Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. The wines, with rich and mature fruits and subject to subtle élevage, are particularly appreciated by critics and wine guides, despite the fact that the domaine is highly discreet. References are thus made of the domaine at restaurants such as Bristol or Taillevent and yet its name means nothing to many amateurs!

Charmes Chambertin is absolutely sublime. The nose exudes heady and very pure aromas of ripe dark fruit (blueberry, blackberry). The palate is full of flavour with a delicate texture and the same fruitiness as the nose, along with a hint of pencil lead. The finish is very distinguished. This wine pairs very well with quality cuts of meat.
