Morey Saint-Denis Domaine des Lambrays
Information
About the producer

Domaine des Lambrays is located on the Côte de Nuits in Morey Saint-Denis. It was bought by the LVMH group in 2014. It owes its name to the famous Grand Cru Clos des Lambrays which it owns as a virtual monopole. Besides the Clos des Lambray, the domaine produces stunning Morey-Saint-Denis as well as white wines in Puligny-Montrachet, bringing the total area of the vineyard to 11 hectares. Yield is low (28hl / ha), harvests are done by hand and aging takes places over eighteen months in 50% new oak barriques. The entire range is exceptional. In comparison with the Burgundian elite, prices remain reasonable. But the domaine’s reputation continues to grow worldwide.

About the wine

Morey-Saint-Denis is very well balanced. Its bouquet is distinguished by aromas of red berries (blackcurrant and morello cherry). A wine which majors in lightness and elegance on the palate.
