About the producer
Bouchard Père & Fils, founded in 1731, is one of the most important houses of Burgundy. Owned by Henriot Champagnes since 1995, this house has considerably expanded and is now one of the best merchants of Burgundy. This house also has its own domain of 130 hectares.
About the wine
Chambertin is made from one of the appellation's most prestigious sites, the Clos-de-Bèze. This was one of Napoleon's favourite wines. This grand cru stands out through its intense aromatic palette, excellent ageing potential and beautiful structure in which power and elegance mingle.
