Information
Since the 16th century, Château de Lancyre has dominated over the hills and plains of the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation. Since the 1970s, the estate took a new approach with their 78 hectares of vines. The reds, rosés and whites produced here are distinct for their balance and strong personality.
The domain's only wine to be matured in wood, this Pic-Saint-Loup is striking for its intense, virtually black appearance. This is followed by intense, complex notes of coffee, bitter cocoa, roasting and black berries. The dense palate is counterbalanced by an appealing minerality, lending it persistence and balance.
