Information
A 12th century abbey, Château Sainte Roseline is now a huge wine property and a popular site to visit. The property has belonged to the Teillaud family since 1994. First Bernard, then Aurélie Bertin and her daughter have restored and developed the property. The sumptuous site has a park in which an exhibition of works by a famous sculptor is held every year. You can also visit the listed chapel, which contains the Saint Roseline shrine, a fresco by Chagall and a bas relief by Giacometti. A Cru Classé de Provence, the château is in the commune of Arc-sur-Argens.
This exceptional Provencal Cru Classe cuvée is produced from parcels of old Rolle vines grown on limestone soil in close proximity to the Mediterranean. This exceptional terroir gives the wines its great elegance and lip-smacking freshness. Maturing for 10 months in new barrels enables the complex aromas to develop as well as a robust structure which ensures its remarkable ageing capacity, cellaring for up to 10 years. Fans of this wine will relish its crystal, clear hue and bright bouquet exuding white flowers and its fine length on the palate.
