About the producer
Martine Cazeneuve bought Château Paloumey in 1989. She extended, renovated and replanted the domaine, which now has 35 hectares of Haut-Médoc appellation vines. In 1993, she also bought Château La Garricq, a vineyard with three hectares of Moulis appellation.
About the wine
La Garricq is a typical Moulis appellation wine: powerful but elegant, with red berry, liquorice and floral aromas, spiced with a woody note. It has a long finish on the palate and good ageing potential.
