Clos Margalaine
Information
About the producer

Located in the commune of Arsac, adjoining Châteaux Le Tertre and Monbrison, the property lies on a deep gravel terroir and produced a classic Margaux until it was purchased by Philippe Porcheron. The new owner called in Thunevin's team (Valandraud) with a view to implementing the techniques necessary to produce an exceptional micro-cuvée, of which the first vintage was in 1999. The property also produces a second wine, Clos Margolaine.

About the wine

Château Marojallia's second wine, Le Clos Margalaine, is produced in small quantities, from a 4-hectare terroir of deep gravel. It is vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged in new, French oak barriques. The wine offers a subtle balance between finesse, elegance and generosity.
