Information
About the producer

Well-known Bonnezeaux producer René Renou was also President of the Institut National des Appellations d'Origine’s Comité Vins. Seventh in a line of Loire winegrowers, in 1995 he decided to reduce his property to 8 hectares so that alongside his committee responsibilities, he could concentrate purely on producing premium quality, sweet white wines. He was a meticulous winegrower, tending his shale and flint plots, harvesting by hand and screening the grapes successively. René Renou died in June 2006 and his son now runs the domain.

About the wine

This cuvée has aromas of currant, baked apple, quince, caramel, and honey. The palate is very delicate and balanced with a pleasant texture.
