Information
Domaine Michel Niellon is spread over 7.5 hectares, planted with 2/3 Chardonnay and the rest in Pinot Noir, with very old vines with low yields. The wines of the domaine are of fine quality with exceptional material, and a honeydew richness. This small domaine of Burgundy is quite famous and its bottles are becoming rare on the market.
Michel Niellon has a small five-hectare domaine located almost entirely within Chassagne (with a handful of vines in Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Champgains too). The average age of its vines is very high and its wines – which are produced in very small quantities from low yields – are very concentrated, full and rich, with great ageing potential.
