Information
About the producer

From one of the oldest families of wine growers in Burgundy, Bernard Gros is today at the head of Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur, which has a total of 21 hectares and an absolutely exceptional grand cru heritage: Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Grands Echezeaux and Echezeaux. The 36.62 acre vineyard of Grands-échezeaux runs along Clos de Vougeot. Domaine Gros Frère & Soeur is located in Vosne Romanée. A dozen years ago, Bernard Gros replanted the vines to improve the quality. His wines are regularly hailed by critics.

About the wine

Richebourg delivers a generous bouquet of red and black berry and violet aromas, embellished with notes of undergrowth and spices. The wine is powerful and attractively full bodied in the mouth, delivering aromas of undergrowth and leather.
