Château Haut Bellevue
Information
About the producer

Several generations have worked – and continue to do so – in this Médoc domain. The adventure began in the late 1800s when Mr Signorait made the most of his spare time by cultivating half a hectare of vines. The vineyard is characterised by its system of complantation, allowing it to express first and foremost the terroir, and then the variety. In 2003, the château was named a Cru Bourgeois.

About the wine

This cuvée comes from a 16 hectare plot rich in gravel and limestone. The grapes are hand harvested and undergo a long fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. The wines are then raised for 13 months in oak barriques, not all of which are new so as to mask the fruit. This Haut-Médoc has a rich yet juicy profile thanks to the intense fruit and spice notes.
