Information
Created at the end of the 19th century, in 1880, Château Rocher Bonregard is a small, family-owned property. Passed down the family through the generations, it has lost none of its excellence. The vines are farmed with care, following traditional methods.
This Pomerol does not enjoy the same fame as its some of its superstar neighbours but nonetheless, it is a fine example of the appellation thanks to the care and attention that goes into the winegrowing and winemaking. Hand harvesting, vinifications in concrete, thermoregulated fermentations and elevage in French oak ensure a rich and intense wine with notes of ripe black fruits, liquorice and elderberry. Concentrated yet discreet, the mouth is long and perfectly suited to red meat dishes and game.
