About the producer
Located in Pomerol, Château Moulinet-Lasserre spans 5 hectares on the west bank of the Pomerol plain and has been owned by the same family for several generations. Thirty-year-old vines of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown traditionally.
About the wine
Jean-Marie Garde, the property’s current owner, opts for hand-picked harvests, vinifications in thermoregulated vats and an 18-month elevage in oak barriques. After a few years in the cellar this wine reveals great delicacy and a nose back up by complex tertiary aromas.
