Château Haut Tropchaud
Information
About the producer

The owner of Château Maison-Neuve's vineyard, in the Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation, and of Château La Faurie Maison Neuve in 'Lalande de Pomerol, Michel Coudray acquired Château Haut-Tropchaud, on Pomerol's plateau, in 1987. His neighbours are the formidable Trotanoy and Petrus.

Château Haut-Tropchaud's wine is characterized by its great finesse and elegance, that are underscored by remarkable power and generosity.

About the wine

This wine has a beautiful garnet colour with hints of mauve, and a concentrated, well-formed bouquet packed with intense aromas of ripe fruit. On the palate, it has a lovely full-bodied structure that completely fills the mouth. Good potential to improve with age.
