About the producer
Acquired in 1969 by Paul and Jacqueline Clauzel, Château Guillot Clauzel has two hectares of vines. It is a plot, the family kept, after selling the Château de Beauregard. The clay terroir has been planted with a mixture of Cabernet Franc (40%) and Merlot (60%). Trotanoy, Nénin and Le Pin are the prestigious neighbours of this wine, which testifies the terroir’s quality.
About the wine
Thanks to the Clauzel family's efforts, the wines produced are of excellent quality. It is an elegant and typical wine for the appellation.
