Château la Commanderie de Mazeyres was created from the division of the 14th century Mazeyres estate. Covering an area of 10 hectares, the property is currently owned by Clément Fayat. This 25-year-old vineyard is one of the finest in the Pomerol appellation, the vines are planted in sandy brown soil with a subsoil of deep gravel.
About the wine
The resulting wines have great depth and a silky texture. The wines are bottled at the château.
