Information
About the producer

Until 2005 Cap de Faugères was owned by the Guisez family, who also owned Château Faugères and Château Péby-Faugères, on a property 6 kilometres east of the village of Saint Emilion. These three properties were acquired in 2005 by the business man Silvio Denz, owner of Lalique. The Château Cap de Faugères, extends over 31 hectares, in the town of Sainte-Colombe, in Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux AOC. The winery was renovated by architects Jean de Gastines and Patrick Dillon. This domain is among the best of the appellation.

About the wine

This wine is vinified in thermoregulated wood and stainless steel tanks before aging for 12 to 14 months in barrels used for aging one to two wines before. It has a beautiful aromatic intensity, a great structure and is very fruity on the palate. It is a well-balanced and very seductive wine.
