Château Tournefeuille
Information
About the producer

Located in a village in the commune of Néac, on a spur facing several great Pomerols, Château Tournefeuille produces an elegant wine. The vines are an average of 25 years old, and are planted in clay-gravel soil. The vineyard's exposure is ideal for ripening the Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. After manual harvesting, the harvest is sorted in the winery. Maturation takes place in barrels, one-third of which are renewed every year, and lasts from 12-24 months, depending on the vintage.

About the wine

This is a full-bodied, dense wine with plenty of tannins. It has a laying-down potential of at least ten years.
