About the producer
Domaine Baronnat, located in Gleize, in the Beaujolais, was founded in 1920 by Jean Baronnat. His son has been at the helm of the domain since 1985. The wines now find their way on to some of the finest tables in Paris.
About the wine
The nose is complex, varying according to the intensity of aging, from elegant red fruit notes to plummy or toasty ones. This aromatic richness is also present on the palate and over the years, the tannins refine and tertiary notes start appearing. Smooth and fleshy, this wine has a perfect balance that makes it appreciable, even when young.
