Château Brisson
Information
About the producer

Located in the Castillon-Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation, Château Brisson's vines span 32 hectares. Its history dates back to 1878, but it's in the early 2000 that its quality came on in leaps and bounds. The wines express their delicious character thanks to an improvement in viticultural techniques and careful vinifications.

About the wine

Merlot dominates this blend-as befits the appellation- and gives the wine its charming roundness and suppleness, as well as the typical ripe, fleshy black fruit aromas. A year of ageing in oak barrels gives great complexity. Its flavourful, fruit profile makes it accessible now and over the next ten years. Pair with red meats.
